Chevron's MARC: Enabling meaningful conversations on sensitive topics
The role of men in diversity, equity, and inclusion has grown significantly in recent years. Yet many obstacles remain. To eradicate barriers and encourage men to be more vocal about concerning issues, Chevron introduced a program named Men Advocating Real Change (MARC).
Through constant advocacy, MARC empowers men to create and support a more inclusive work environment. MARC is assisting men in bringing about actual change in society by giving framework for meaningful dialogues about sensitives topics and raising awareness about unconscious prejudices and exclusive behaviors. Chevron believes that this is a movement where greater equity is built in partnership by and for individuals of all genders, including men. Chevron’s MARC change agents are transforming cultures and accelerating progress on DEI in order to reshape the workplaces in Bangladesh and around the world.
