Unilever Bangladesh Ltd has always stressed the significance of fostering diversity within its company. The company has put in place a number of infrastructure facilities to encourage diversity and inclusion. Some examples are as follows:
a. Day Care Center: Having access to a day care center provides childcare assistance for parents and is administered by qualified nannies to ensure that children are not abused.
b. Medical Facility: UBL offers one of the top medical facilities, with a female doctor leading the Medical & Occupational Health (MOH) team. Furthermore, UBL has notable collaborations with major hospitals for assistance. In addition, the plants have well equipped medical clinics to assist personnel.
c. Sanitation: In order to offer its employees with hygienic working conditions, UBL has mapped all facilities, including distribution centers, around the country to ensure proper sanitation.
d. People with Disabilities and the Third Gender: Access to wheelchair ramps and accessible and gender-neutral restrooms to make the workplace more inclusive of people with disabilities and the third gender.
